Anyone know how to fix a problem with a key not working on a laptop? My T hasnt been very responsive recently and this past week i have had to stab it very hard or press it loads of times just to get a response. I admit i do eat and drink while using it so some of the keys may be a bit dirty or have crumbs under them, can i fix this problem myself or at a PC World/repair shop, and any idea how much it would cost? I would appreciate any reply. (and yes it took ages to type this-too many ts...........):)

Heya, some laptops allow you to take the key off yourself, you can then clean under it. You could try putting a knife under the letter and snap it off. It should just snap back into place after.

What make and model is the laptop?

This all depends on the type of keyboard though, if it's an island keyboard then you're out of luck, unless you hoover the keyboard which could work.

ive replaced my keyboard about 6 times on 2 laptops.
hook up a usb keyboard. if the t works. it's just the keyboard and not the controller.
you should be able to ebay/online store a new one pretty easily and cheaply.
ofc it could just be a lump of food. :D
