Transferring Data

Last night the graphics chip in my old HP laptop died, I went and bought a new Samsung Laptop today but all my Data is stuck on my old Laptop how do I transfer it over?

get a sata drive caddy , take hard drive out of old laptop stick it in new caddy , any problems use google
