    Hi

Replaced the rear casing unit with a new one which included a new battery on my phone on Thursday. The phone was put on charge and and charged to 45% but no further than that. The phone is no longer charging above 15%. The battery icon show the phone is pluged into the charger but it appears to retaining less and less power

Any ideas on how to rectify??

    Hi CathalDublin

How can I tell this by looking at the unit I was sold. Is there an identifying feature on the battery/unit to distinguish between the 3g and the 3gs

there is an apn number on the battery, google the number and you should find out for sure, some of the really really cheap batteries have incorrect numbers on them too
