I need advice on buying my first car

hi lads
im lookin into buying a car, no more than a 1.2 litre engine such as a volkswagon polo,ford fiesta,fiat punto,peugot 206.citroen saxo,opel corsa,micra,seat ibiza etc.
i would be hoping for a car between the age of 2000-2003

what do you think is the most reliable and best drive of these cars cos i wouldnt be able to afford too much mechanic costs if theres any faults. anyone know of any pros and cons of each of these cars

any advice would be greatly appreciated

get a toyota yaris, will never break down and a nice drive:D

Bring some who knows about cars, to check over the whatever car you are thinking of buying.

i heard the same thng but i think they are bit too dear tho. i was lookin at the price of a 01 yaris at it was 3 grand

what about the other cars i mentined, most are under 2 grand

Have a mechanic check it out on a ramp. I didn't for my first car and it turned out to be a lemon!
