Baptism/Christening outfit!

Hey guys,
I'm attending my boyfriend's nephews Christening/baptism in a few weeks time and am looking for some advise on what to wear? Its on in the church (obviously!) and then a reception afterwards so it'll need to suit both occasions and last from early afternoon into the night-time...I'm a 19 year old student by the way!

To be honest, anything that's fairly smart will do- it's the length of the skirt that will make all the difference. A lot of girls your age seem to favour a short hemline so steer clear of that- it's not a night out, even if there is an evening element to the occasion!

You don't want to look too old either though, you are only 19 after all. I think something like any of these would be appropriate with black tights and a cardigan:
