    I've seen no appreciable difference.

I've noticed battery running down quicker but have also put it down to extra use.

i was wondering would it be anything to do with cloud stuff....i have turned off automatic backups and also the photostream...
could there be anything else running i the background causing it in ios5 ?

i'm not over concerned cause i was going to get a battery case anyway, even if it does add a little bulk to it

I must be an odd case because since the update both my iPhone 4 and iPad 2 have been lasting longer. I was presently surprised :D

Yes, significantly so too. I'm at home so not worried but I'll have to shut down cloud and WiFi I'm thinking

it's always better to set the phone up as a new one rather than restoring from backup after updating iOS, previously i had battery issues after updating to iOS 4

I have had no problems so far. Fresh install of iOS5. Went to bed with the battery on 100% and woke up and it was on 99%.

I did notice if I set a reminder to go off at a specific location that the GPS is always on , so i reckon this would be a big drain.

I think the new wifi sync with iTunes would drain the battery quicker since your aways connected to your pc so the wifi wouldn't go into a low power state.

Mines improved from the iOS 5 beta 7 to the release version.
