Has anyone else been getting a load of spam texts from Victor Chandler?

I say spam because when I signed up a while ago, I said I didn't want to receive promotions by SMS.

That was fine until a few weeks ago, when they started texting me regularly. I've checked and that option is still unticked in my account.

There's a number in the message which is supposed to unsubscribe you, but text to that number are returned undeliverable. I'm fed up with their spam, just mailed them asking them to refund my balance, close my account, and stop texting me. Just wondering if anyone else is getting the same thing?

This seems to deemed acceptable behaviour by commercial online operators. They just keep ripping off people and hope they accept it.

Stick with local bookmaker and keep jobs and services local

Why did you just link him to a bingo site?

OP just write to them on live help. I'm sure it's an honest mistake,I have it unticked and I've never gotten one. These things happen.

And how would they be ripping him off by sending him free texts?

Reply to the number the text message came from with just the word stop.

afaik there is legislation in place that the message providers have to unsubscribe you.

I get a letter every month from an online casino based in hong kong. Any advice on how to stop that. Never even went to their site.

Don't know Aston, you could complain to a national advertising authority but if they're from Honk Kong I don't know how much luck you'd have

I imagine VC are doing this because I heard they were due to go bust this year ie they're desperate for new customers to save them

Assume your user name applies to the space between your ears

Chandler family have been involved in the gambling business for nearly a hundred years
