Just downloaded the app as i'd prefer to use this to my current remote setup to my pc, but I have the age old iTunes prob of not being able to play avi's. I know you can select a container file manually, but im wondering if there's a program out there that will allow you to make them playable and added to itunes without…

I know you can select a container file manually, but im wondering if there's a program out there that will allow you to make them playable and added to itunes without either converting each one or using a container, a "indexer" of some sorts..

There's a remote app for VLC. Why not just use that instead?

Well thats a pay app, and the apple app looks a lot better going from screenshots, and looks like you have to mess around with ip's and stuff.. is it hard to setup?

Although I really think there has to be somethin out there for what i'm looking for. Also looked in xbmc remote but didnt like the look of it.

I'm pretty sure there's a free version of VLC remote as well.
