cheapest tax returns quote

    i have self assessment returns to do for 2010. i was partly self employed and partly PAYE.
    The first quote I got for tax returns was €245 + VAT but I'm sure I can do better than that.
    What's the best quote anyone has recieved for this?
    Going to try those taxback guys tomorroe as I've heard they are good value.

    Hi

    €245 plus VAT is a very good quote. If you want to have your tax returns done by a guy in India who fills in boxes on a form he doesn't understand or even care about then try taxback.com

    It depends on what income you had and how complex it is. Noone here can give you an idea on how much it should cost without seeing the scope of the work involved.

    Agreed. You could have a P60 and one self employed invoice or you could have a whole set of messy accounts. it depends on a whole range of things.

    Cheaper isnt always better

    Ive been in practice for a very long time and its a good quote. Go sit down in front of a human being and explain your situation to him/her face to face.
