    can any one tell me which satilite is best to connect to on a free to air reciever. there are 39 different ones to chose from:eek:

    Astra 2 and Eurobird 1 have the most channels. Loads of duplicates too.:D

    It depends what you want to view.

    Astra 2/Eurobird 1 28.2/28.5 degrees mostly english e.g bbc and itv

    Astra 1 19.2degrees Mostly but not all German, very little english

    Hotbird 13 degrees Mostly Italian and worldwide stations. Very few english
