    Does anyone on here know a gunsmith or even a gifted chippy that would be able to make a custom lamanated timber stock for a shotgun????:D:D

    Your not going to improve your shotgun by putting a laminated stock on it. If anything its going to make it heavier. I've never heard of a laminated stock for a shotgun just rifles. A chippy would have to know about how to make the stock fit too.

    If it aint broken don't fix it.

    The next laminated shotgun stock I see will be the very first I've ever seen in my life.

    I'm certain that there is a good reason for that.

    After-market shotgun stocks are, AFAIK, made of unobtainium.

    you could try pat sludds in wexford.. great man with his hands turns out lovely stocks... but as mentioned there may be a good reason why they aint doin them for shotguns

    Prolly be cheaper to buy a new shotgun, IMO - one that has a nice plastic stock.
