I cant use red dot in blops at all where'as in MW2 nearly every gun i used it.

In blops i just find i have better accuracy with the iron sights .Have played a few games recently of MW2 and find i do better with red ot than without.

    is it just me?

Nope, I'm the same. But I think it's more to do with the fact that in MW2 you only need to fire a burst to kill an enemy, whereas in BlOps you need to shoot them for a while or get a headshot, meaning sights are more important.

would it not be the opposite case though? I find red dots sights easier to keep on targets. Still think extended mags/ dual mags are a better option though

I used to use red dot all the time, then I started using the enfield alot and it's sights are so good that I just gave up on the Red dot's. Now it's rare I use them but when I do I stick on a blue crosshair, with orange lens. Seems to work pretty well for me.

it might seem silly but I think that the red dot is smaller in Mw2 than it is in blops.. Its more like the holographic sight in blops, its bigger an just a pain to use, where as the red dot in Mw2 is much cleaner lookin... I don't use the red dot much in blops, except on the commando it works well..

The Iron sights in blops on most guns are perfectly fine to use..

I much prefer to have dual/extended mags than RDS

I find it only becomes an issue over larger distances, as the recoil makes it hard to keep on your target, so that's why I keep it on rifles and smgs.

But it's making it really hard to create a balanced class for myself.

I play pretty close to my TV so theres no real advantage for me using the iron sights i guess. Plus I use extended mags on pretty much every gun.. (Pistols/snipers/smg's/LMG's etc :P), im not one of those reload freaks so the extra ammo saves my arse a lot and gets me lots of multikills.
