    Is this possible?
Upgraded to ios 5 and suddenly my home button which had been giving me grief (multiple presses many times daily) suddenly is working perfectly again!
I thought the problem was hardware related and was hoping the phone would hold out until my next upgrade in a couple of months.Doing a web search I found that some users experiencing the same problem think it is cause by a previous ios upgrade.
Another issue I found after upgrading was that all my contacts had disappeared. This can be fixed by selecting and editing any contact field if the previous call list is still intact.By this I mean if you go to previous calls and the recipients are still there, select a name and edit say the address field and hey presto all your contacts will reappear.Once again I found this information online.

I noticed the same but it was very short lived. Within an hour or two I was back to Home Button Hell again. It's maybe not quite as bad but not marvellous by a long shot either. I might have to send the phone back to Apple anyway.

Mine seems to have gotten worse. What's more noticeable though is if I press home and nothing happens when I press it again, say 3 seconds later, it shows all the apps I have running, (rather than tapping home twice in quick succession) which suggests it's a problem with software.
