I'd like to see them win. A northern hemisphere team winning the world cup would be good after people saying before the start of the WC that northern hemisphere teams had no chance.

I'd love Wales to win it, think they could make final but don't see them beating Australia (CONTROVERSIAL!).

As we all know, rugby is like winner stays on pool, we play Wales first (5th I think in Lansdowne) if we beat Wales after they win the trophy, then WE are world champions.... until we lose it.

All going well I'm expecting us to take a Grand Slam in Twickenham on Paddys day....

I think France would have more chance of winning it if they get through the semi final. I hope Wales win and will defenitely be shouting for them but think it's too much too soon for a young team to beat either Oz or NZ in the final

Allez les BLEUS :D Wales are way too nervous for it. Too many expectations ! Hopefully France will edge it ;)

I really couldn't care less who wins so long as the game is good.

Love to see Wales win against the French, they've developed some great young talent and play a progressive brand of rugby.

Would love to see Wales winning this, but my wallet shouts for France!

I'm neutral at this point to be honest, I wish Wales well, and am really looking forward to this game, and would be happy to see either team in the final.

As long as the games are good, I don't really care who wins. I just hope the best team does, and that could well be Wales.

Good luck to them anyway, they may never have a chance as good as this again.

I'm torn because while I'd rather see Wales win, I think France would have a much better chance of beating the All-Blacks or Australia in the final. It would be a much better final with France in it.

See the only flaw in that is that Wales most likely are not the real word champions so. You'd have to start at a point with whatever team you pick , say teh firts WC final. So in 87 The All Blacks were world champions. Then you go winner stays on from there. For all we know Namibia could be the true champions.:)

Sadly I'm too still too bitter to out and out support Wales. :(
So, I'll have to agree Justin Dee and hope for a good game!
At least England can't win it :D

France have more chance of lifting Webb Ellis imo.

Also, a big fan of Harinordoquy and Dusatoir

    Allez les bleus.

I'd like wales to win but they'd never shut up about it if they managed to reach the wc final therefore...... ALLEZ LES BLEU!

I'd actually rather see France win. Of all the teams left I'd most like to see France take the trophy as I think they deserve it most. They're easily the best team never to have won it.

Plus France beating NZ in the final would be ****ing hilarious.

Still so gutted that we aren't there but sure id like to see either Wales or Aus win it for two reasons...

    1) We beat Aus so wed technically be world champions by proxy....cough
    2) Wales beat us so wed have lost to the world champions...

    ALLEZ LA ROUGE! :D

I thought Britanny was Celtic, no ?

Fair play to the Welsh though. I doubt you'd get 60,000 Frenchmen in a stadium to look at a screen at nine o'clock in the morning.

britanny is celtic they think of themselves as separate from france , would you get 60,000 irish into a stadium at 9 if there was no booze?

Wales excecuted a clinically excellent gameplan against us in the QF....the phrase 'They had their homework done' has been bandied about in various circles since the match. I don't think this can or will happen tomorrow morning, since another phrase which has been bandied about re The French 'Which French team is going to turn up on the day?' .... Unless Gatland has a crystal ball.

A large part of me would love to see Wales beat France, the part of me that doesn't has a dislke for Gatland. I don't know what it is, I just do.

Hope the Kiwis win on Sunday, and go on to lift the Webb Ellis. There is no doubt they have been the formidable team for years and have dominated at the top of the world rankings. I know anything can happen in a once every four year Cup championship - in any sport (e.g. Greece winning football's Euro 2004), but my goodness The All Blacks would deserve the title.
