It's a pity I played there a couple of years ago in an open comp. it's a beautiful course. The 18th is a beauty one of the nicest finishing holes I've played.

presumably its along similar lines to moyvalley, clarke and his team being involved in both..
sligo and the north-west in general are spoilt for choice
not surprised courses like this are struggling

Was in good shape during summer but at the end of the day , it was built on very poor land. When wet its a nightmare and the drainage money seems to be drying up(excuse the pun).
Lovely course on a good day - i would say the hotel is on its knees too - no infrastructure to support the hotel.

    Hi Folks,

Like everywhere it is struggling to get people in the doors but having played the course regularly I still think its a good track with 3 great finishing holes. It was in great nick when i played it a few weeks ago.

They put a lot of money into the drainage as it used to be wet this time of the year so it will be interesting to see if it works because if its wet it will struggle to get numbers when you have top quality links courses that will be dry on your doorstep.

    Kev.

Just played there this morning. After all the rain the last couple of days The 12 fairway isn't in great shape. But the rest of the course is i cant fault it. The greens are fast and are in great shape. I paid 25 for the round and is money well spent.

    sounds good
as long as the monsoon holds off for another 2 weeks

    presumably the place was deserted?
