Anyone know anywhere that does proper putter fitting? I mean professional analysis of your stroke and setup and all that and adjusting the putters numbers based on the results?

Seems there are a good few places in the UK but I can't find anywhere here at all....

A far shorter putter shaft on -- you guessed it -- a Newport 2 ;). Also found out I was consistantly aiming right of the hole and correcting that in my stroke.

As regards the putter fitted, improved my long/lag putting hugely, but killed me on shorter ones, so I went back to a 34" shaft, which I've used for about 18 months now and am very happy with. The session at least left me confident that the Newport 2 I'm using is the right style for me, so no more changes there (used to be regularly changing putters)

That said, I know 2 people who have had it done there and never looked back, hugely improved their putting, so it's worth a try. Think it cost me €50 to get it done, they will modify your existing putter if you want, don't necessarily need to buy a new one.

Super stuff! Pure Golf look pretty good - do half day putting schools too. Although they don't seem to have any sessions at all for the rest of the year!

I've emailed them anyway and I 'll see what they say.

    Thanks guys...
