    Hi,

I got punched in the face last week inside a fast food store for no reason. I was in hospital today and it turns out that my nose is broken.

Does a broken nose from a random attack mean assault or is it GBH or how is this generally dealt with? I am just praying that it was all caught on cctv.

I think the question is what charges could the offender face for that level of assault?

Yes that's what I want to know.

What results have past cases like this ended up with?

You need to speak with the Gardaí and a solicitor most likely. No legal advice as per forum charter.
