    Hey

I am lookin for some product i can put on my armpits to give a nice odour.
I used to just use lynx deodorant but the past 7 years or so it stings my armpits so i stopped putting it on,i then tried anti persperant sprays but that would all just clump up into white blobs on the hair and not look very great. so for the last 5 years or so i have just not bothered putting any products on my armpits but now i find im gettin more odour there when im doing activities.nothing gross or anything, just regular sweat

im wondering if there is anything i can use to neutralise the odour

The only good thing about Lynx is their marketing

Try Driclor, it's the biz. Boots sell it, very heavy duty

And if you're in a office get some good cotton shirts.
Wearing cheap and nasty polyester is not going to help you

Yep, driclor is what you need.

It's a roll on the you put on before going to bed. Whatever you do don't scratch because it will sting like ****.

When using Driclor do you still use a deodorant.

Yes, you put the driclor on when you go to bed and wash it off in the morning.

I'd recommend not using a spray on deodorant though as driclor will irritate the skin.

I don't know about you but having to put that on each night and wash it off in the morning... - that smacks of way too much effort in my book!

Try Mitchum rollon (availible in boots also), 'industrial strength' in my experience, and spray some lynx across your chest/lwr body or whatever if you so desire -pretend you're in a TV ad, raise you're left arm, spray and swivel body anti-clockwise, looking moody and pensive for that 'I'm so manly and alpha male' type BS that seems to appeal to a lot of plebs out there)

As for the matted armpit hair - would you not just think of trimming it with a scissors? That underarm-minge look ain't gonna do ya any favours me boyo

    Godspeed!

this driclor stuff sounds like its not what i need, having to put it on overnight,i might buy a bottle if its cheap enough but i dont have overly sewaty pits,im not making people gag wen i walk past them or anything, sounds like driclor might be for people with serious BO issues.im just lookin for an alternative to lynx that i can rub or spray onto me pits before i leave the house in the evening..i do spray the lynx on my chest every day and also a splash of calvin klein on the neck mayb once a week if i can be bothered

as for trimming the hair,i never thought of that, not sure if id give it a go,ive allready got enough hair in other areas to trim, its a nightmare doin it all,i should have never started.

ill head into boots monday or tuesday and get one of the roll ons and il lreport back how it works out, hopefully it wont be all sticky and matt the hair up

For a start, unless you're 15 then stop using Lynx.

Objection! - I call agist BS on that statement. So there are rules to conform to concerning a can of scented aerosol now? Can you point me to the documents containing said legislation please?

Granted, much of the lynx range smells like cr*p but both Africa and Instinct are quit nice - so what are you suggesting, that there's more socially acceptable sprays out there like em, Old Spice? - or maybe it's the addidas sports range, aimed at the training ground dressing-room type? I never understood this kind of mentality... You let a board of fatcat marketing agents tell you what is ok and not ok to use then? - many an insurrection / revolution would have fallen flat on its face if they were trying to rouse people like you to revolt young man :)

You say 'grow up', I say 'wake up'.

PS. don't take offence, I jest - but only slightly ;)

Have you tried shaving your armpits? I find its great if i get sweaty! It's not as bad as it sounds. I find that sweat builds up if your really hairy so it does help

I do that also and it does help a lot,i dont shave them completely but just a trim and you would be surprised how much less you would sweat.

As O.D. said, Loreal Men Expert sprays are the dog's goolies.

My favourite one is Fresh Extreme, it smells lovely and isn't one bit sticky.

Another problem with the lynx dry is that if you use it each day and wear a t-shirt say 2 days in a row, after a while you will notice a build-up of the powdery stuff and a stale sweat smell in the pit of the t-shirt.

Also, if you "groom", give your underarm hair a trim-down every so often. It stops any anti-perspirant from building up on the hairs and makes it a hell of a lot easier to wash that area while showering.

    P.S. BRING BACK LYNX INCA!

FCUK Sport (It's in a red bottle that can be bought in Boots) is amazing. Smells great too. :) Highly recommend that. Their corresponding shower gel is also the shiz.
