dell mini 10v boot volume error help

    hey everbody just wondering can anyone help, when i turn on my dell mini computer it says unmountable boot volume error. i've looked around and every solutions seems to require a cd but there is no cd/dvd drive on this computer. i have everything backed up so also tried reseting to factory settings but not sure if this computer has a partition to allow this. the computer runs off windows xp, if anyone can help it would be much appreciated. dont really know much about computers either :-(

    Sounds to me like it could be a dead hard disk... You can check this by creating a bootable USB key with Ultimate Boot CD (Navigate too HDD->Diagnostics>Latest Seatools for DOS and run a short and long scan/any errors and hard drives the issue)
