This year is proving really great for metal for me personally. I honestly don't care for bands like Mastodon, Machine Head, Unearth, Five Finger Death Punch, Trivium, Gojira and the like. I was never really a huge fan of Septic Flesh although I thought that 'Revolution DNA' and 'Sumerian Daemons' were really brilliant…

This year is proving really great for metal for me personally. I honestly don't care for bands like Mastodon, Machine Head, Unearth, Five Finger Death Punch, Trivium, Gojira and the like. I was never really a huge fan of Septic Flesh although I thought that 'Revolution DNA' and 'Sumerian Daemons' were really brilliant especially 'Sumerian Daemons'though. This new album is excellent although it did take some time to get into it. Songs like 'The Vampire from Nazareth, A Great Mass of Death, Pyramid God, Oceans of Grey, The Undead Keep Dreaming, Rising, Apocalypse and Therianthropy are sheer class, and they have some outstanding lead guitar riifs and solos that are very memorable. What do other people here think of this new album?
