This is another incredible album for me in 2011. It's very like Dissection, so I would highly recommend it to fans of Dissection. The guitar sound is cold and desolate just like the classic albums 'The Somberlain' and 'Storm of The Light's Bane'. The previous album 'Fallen Angels Dominion' is incredible as well, and it also blew me away. For anybody who was bitterly dissapointed with 'Rein Khaos' definitetly check this band out. Here's a few songs:

Gates of Eden from Under a Frozen Sun

Blood And Fire from Under a Frozen Sun

Spirit of The Night from Fallen Angels Dominion

Frozen Kingdom from Fallen Angels Dominion

Cheers for posting this up - i'm a massive Obscura fan but i've never tracked down any of Thulcandra's material (i just could never warm to Dissection so avoided them because of the comparisons), but i figured no harm in clicking the link. Will probably investigate them further now :)

Kummerer just has a gift for writing memorable songs on top of his amazing playing.
