I need to get a decent app that will allow me to send group sms messages to 70+ contacts at a time. Currently I'm using go sms pro to send them as it can use the groups i've imported via goggle contacts into the stock messaging app.

However some contacts aren't receiving my messages for some reason.

Anyone know of a good paid or free app that will allow me to get the job done properly?

Thanks for the link mate, that app only let's you sent messages to 15 contacts at a time. I need to send it to about 100+ at a time.

Search the market for Group SMS. Theres lots of apps made for it.
Sending a text to over 100 people at once is never gonna be 100% reliable I woulda thought. Its a lot of info to be sending to multiple sources from 1 point

Ok I see that point. So what's the workaround... Split the group into smaller groups?

Does go sms pro only send a set amount of texts in one go? If this was the case then maybe that's why alot of my contacts don't get my messages???

Is it for your business or for work?

I know there are special deals through some sports associations for reduced rate for mass messaging.

If you're using it for business though you'd be as well to go to some like Puca or Zamano and they'll give you good analyitcs as well and provide you with send/delivered/failure stats for the database that you're sending to.

Its just for a weekly club I run. is there some limit as to the amount of texts that can be sent at one time on android or something? Maybe that's why some of the texts aren't even showing up as been sent to some of my contacts when I send a group sms.

Looking around I'm after seeing both 80 and 100 mentioned as android limits of sending texts

Ok, so just so as I know. If I've a group with 120 contacts in it, then only 80-100 of them will receive the text in the hour OR just 80-100 will receive it full stop?

Reason I'm asking is because I can split the group into max 50 per group and then just group text the same sms to the 3 groups. I presume this would be a viable workaround?

Edit: What I'm asking, is that will it send up to 100(or whatever's the limit) per hour, then send the rest afterwards? So if there was 112 contacts in the group, it would only send to 100 then an hour later it would send it to the other 12?

    Very confusing.
