Guys. I've no longer got my multi emu arcade cabinet so I'm looking for a multi emulator that runs (quickly) and looks nice on a desktop PC.

    Any ideas ?

Really depends on what you want to run. For the majority of non-3d stuff, Mame covers all the bases. For 3d type games to run & look well, you'll need to look at specific emulators for that system.

A good setup would be Mame, & various other specific emulators all running & controlled via a nice frontend such as Hyperspin.

Yeah. I've decent experience with emulators. Its a frontend I'm looking for.

I'm looking for as light as possible FE. Its been a while since I used hyperspin (I had it setup in the arcade cab). Would it be light enough/quick to run ?

In that case its down to the specs of your pc. My cab's pc is a Core2Duo 2.8Ghz, 4GB ram & XP x64...HS runs flawlessly on it. Some users report stuttering though, so it's not a fine art.

My PC is fast(recent) so HS would be grand. Its more that I'm looking for something a bit more minimalist. Its not for an arcade cab. Its for my desktop pc.

Yeah but you can configure HS to display a single list of games, or the entire romset of every emulator. Its lightness is entirely up to the user & how its configured.

There's other frontends too though which might suit, but if looking good is a requirement, I know HS fulfills.

As EnterNow says, HS can be trimmed to suit your needs. There's also Mala, http://malafe.net/index.php?page=layouts, only used it for a short while years ago before switching to HS so not sure what it's like these days.
