I sync all apps with the wifes phone as well as mine on one apple ID account.

Now with iCloud everything updates to all devices... photos..calender etc.
Is the only option to turn off the cloud on her phone so she doesnt get my iMessages to other ppl... Pics and calenders ??? or is there another option ??

Also.... how do I use the find my friends app with the one apple account on 2 phones ???
I read somewhere that it is possible that u can use 2 devices with 1 apple ID .. I think it was an apple forum but I cant see an easy way around doing it.

Just turn off iMessages on her device. Go to Settings > Messages and slide iMessages to "off". You don't have have to turn off iCloud completely. But any iCloud services you don't want her getting, just turn them off in Settings > iCloud.

Since you are both on the same account, use the Find My iPhone app instead

Then create a new account for either yourself or her. You can't expect things to work against they way they were designed, and accounts in nearly every service are designed to be one per person.

You can use different accounts for the App Store and for other iCloud services. Create a new iCloud account for syncing data, and use the original account in Settings > Store for buying.

iMessage can be used with both an e-mail and a phone number, so you can sign into your device with your e-mail but not on her device
