    Bet 5

    France v Wales, over 36.5 points, 3.3pts@10/11.

    Main reason I've picked this one out is because the last time France played Wales where the total points was under 36.5 was in 1996, 19 games ago.

    Bank = 94.7
    Profit/Loss = -2

    The writing was on the wall for this bet once Warburton was sent off. Gutted for Wales tho, the French were a disgrace in my opinion, what summed it up for me was their choice to kick the ball out of play for half time when they were 3 points up, had an extra man on the pitch and were on the attack. That is a prime opportunity to go for it and take advantage of the upper hand they had, and get scores on the board, but they were happy to just kick the ball out of play and go in for half time. Negative rugby and they don't deserve to be in a final, gutted for Wales although they missed their chances and would have won the game only for their poor kicking.

    Bank deteriorating so need to do something about that! There was only 1 other bet that stood out to me during the week, and that was Utd and Liverpool both to score @ 4/6. Short price but the stats and form of both teams back this one up. In the last 6 games these teams have squared off in the league, 5 have resulted in both teams scoring. Man Utd have scored in every league game this season and have a great attacking record, however have had concerns at the back all season. Liverpool have scored in every home league game this season so I can see the trend of both teams scoring in this game continuing.

    Profit/Loss = -5.3

    Debated it up to the point they got into the stalls, was either gonna have a big size bet or nothing. Went with it, logged in and posted just as the race went off. Attached the log from bet365 which shows the time of the bet.

    Bet 21

    It's been a while since I've posted to this log but I've been following the PDC World Champ darts this week and there is a bet jumping off the page at me which I would like to post.

    Gary Anderson plays Simon Whitlock later today in the quarter finals of the PDC World Championships in a first to 5 sets game. Both these men are big scorers and Anderson's finishing yesterday was brilliant, so I think this one could go down to the wire. Anderson has scored more 180's in the tournament so far than anyone else, with 8 in his first round game over 5 sets, 11 in his second round game over 6 sets, and 10 today over 5 sets against Colin Lloyd. Considering there will be a minimum of 5 sets played tomorrow (but most likely 7 or 8), with a good chance of most of these sets going down to the deciding leg, Anderson will have plenty of opportunities to pile on the maximums, and I think 4/5 is a great price for him to score over 10.5 180's.

    Anderson v Whitlock. Anderson to score over 10.5 180's, 5pts @ 4/5 (Paddy Power).

    Bank = 97.89
    Profit/Loss = +2.89
    In Play = 5
