You'll be able to find it in any health food shop. Not sure about the chain supermarkets, but some may stock in their healthy food sections.

Sweet I must pop into my local one and see.

Going to try it instead of Rice/Pasta/Potatos for a bit.

Trying to cut down on the carbs.

    IT's very nice.

Use a stock when making it rather than just water, makes it much more palatable.

Yep, and if you find it bitter, rinsing the grains thoroughly before cooking will get rid of that.

I love it cooked in veg stock and with a spoon of tahini melted through!

Dry Frying in before adding the water give it a lovely nutty flavour. Just put it in the pot and toast till it goes a few shades darker. Also makes a nice porriage.

you might want to compare the nutritional values to potatoes.

I believe Tescos have it. I make mine in a rice cooker...dunno how everyone else does it tho...

Hugh Fearnley-whatshisface has a nice recipe for a quinoa stir fry which I made not too long ago, it's down the end of this page http://www.guardian.co.uk/lifeandstyle/2011/feb/05/couscous-bulgur-quinoa-recipes

Quinoa is lower in carbs compared to other grains like rice, but its higher in carbs and calories compared to potatos.
There are plenty of benefit o quinoa, but if you are looking to go loc carb there are better options.
