Raiders trade for Aaron Curry

According to NFL.com "The Seattle Seahawks agreed Wednesday to trade linebacker Aaron Curry, a former first-round draft pick, to the Oakland Raiders for a 2012 seventh-round selection and a 2013 conditional fifth-rounder."

Subject to league approval and his passing a physical.

Sounds like a pretty good deal for the Raiders, he didn't cost much and with Rolando McClain hobbled and Ricky Brown on IR, they are a bit light at the linebacker position. Maybe a change of scenery, scheme and role, might help Curry become the player that was envisioned when he was fourth pick in the 2009 draft.

    great move by the Raiders.

Would have loved the Eagles to have picked him up the 7th and 5th rounders are what I would have expected.

Was never going to happen though, the cap space for his first rounder contract even with the restructuring of it he did in the off season wouldnt have allowed us pick him up.
