Evening Herald and that Martin McGuinness Photo

    Now the SF fan club here would know I wouldn't be in SF camp but I feel that Martin is getting treated unfairly by the rag that is the Evening Herald. They have constantly used a very unflatering stock photo of him since he declared for the Aras. He looks like a constipated leprechaun with a big redface and a poorly fitting suit. Is this a form of subliminal journalism to give us an impression that he looks unfit for office?

    P.S I couldn't find the said photo online.

    What do you want them to do, if the photo is unflattering, then it's unflattering.

    End of story, surely you don't think they should airbrush the thing?

    Ehh perhaps put a regular non-airbrushed one up that shows him as he normally looks.

    This is no suprise, just look at the herald today, they are trying to claim he attacked Miriam after the show last night when in reality any fair minded person watching the debate would have to admit it was Miriam who attacked Martin before encouraging the others to join her in the attack.

    Read the posts again please, you mentioned air brushed not me, as you mentioned fake not me. Are you implying that I am saying that its an airbrushed fake? While I am in fact saying its a very unflattering photo and should be replaced with a better photo.

    Why?

    A photo is a photo, and a reflection of how a person looked at the time it was taken.
