I bought one recently on here. didnt really get to test it out yet but in the next few days or next week i hope to get out with it and we'll be using a lightforce 170 handheld too. Its not as good as the lightforce but I'll only be using it with a hmr so it will do the finest for me. What rifle are you using?
I was using it out the back and the beam decent out of it. shame there was no eyes to be seen though

No its just the lamp. you'll have to buy a battery and battery charger separate.
The beem will be more than enough for the range of a hmr at night. you'll spot eyes at good distances. il try to try it out the weekend and let you know how i rate it properly. I havent a clue how far it goes but the focus isnt as good as the lightforce. Im have a small backpack with a 12v motor bike battery in it so its handy to carry around.

sportsden also sell batteries for lamps
    double waste pack
    http://www.sportsden.ie/guns/gun-accessories/rifle-accessories/deben-belt-battery-packs.html

    lithium ion battery pack.

there expensive but they are the future generation of batteries. much lighter and lasts alot longer.

have you any other lamps already?

Oh crap that is expensive

I have a 5 million cp handheld light that works off a motorbike battery and also have a 1 million cp scope mounted light but the battery is very poor from day 1 and i always charge it as specified, also the focus after 100 yards is very poor

if you had a lamp for spotting you could use a led lenser p7 that comes with scope mount and pressure switch for about 70 euro
http://www.ledlenser.com/product/p7 takes 4 AAA batteries. good light out to 150-200 yards

m7r is abit more expensive but can be recharged.

The only thing it has no info about is if the battery is included or if its just the light on its own  Great price if the battery is included though
