Face/Body paint

Hey all,

Have a fancy dress this weekend and I'm looking to black up as part of my costume. Any idea where in town you'd get a good bit of that body paint stuff? I guessed partyworld in Tramore would be the best bet but with work I don't think I'll get a chance to go out there. It's more town I'm thinking.

Partyworld is the best place tbh, or you could try www.thecostumeshop.ie if you're fast. I've used both before and gotten what I needed.

Can you get to Smyths - I think we got the Snazaroo (?) stuff for the kids there. Gets everywhere but seems to wash out OK.

I used snazaroo orange face paint last year for Halloween to totally cover my face and arms. It worked great, stayed on all night and came out easily in the shower. Mind you I had an orange pillow the next day! They have it in Woodies at the mo for a fiver.

+1 on the Snazaroo bought some silvery blue from an arts and crafts shop as part of my crazyon costume. It did not dissapoint.

I purchased body paint from Face 2 on Clarendon Street. About €18, much better consistency than Snazaroo or the like but I'm having just as much difficulty applying it! I've tried a sponge, foundation brush, my hands & a tan mitt. I've tried them all with moisturiser & with just primer and then with nothing at all, but it still comes wipes off if I go over the same area twice! So I look patchy.....:( ( <
