Will he deny his Judo blackbelt like he did his Fianna Fail background too!!

i'd be more impressed if he competed in the open than stand around thinking people will vote because he done the same sport..

It's a shame we don't have one more candidate. We could then have an 8-man single elimination tournament to decide who would be most suited to act as our ceremonial head of state.

I would find it a welcome change of pace from having them heckle each other on Tonight with Vincent Brown.

Sean Gallagher first round bye on the assumption his judo BB would see him thru anyway.

    Game on.

I'd put me money on Vol. McGuinness, although Norris has has a lot of experience in the mano a mano business

Norris by taken the back and doing that rear naked thing on all the competitors, except Davis and Dana, unless Dana international makes an appearance.

I guess suggesting our presidential candidates get involved in a punch-up wasn't the smartest thing I've ever posted, but try not to let it degenerate to the point where I have to do moderator stuff.

McGuinness to win after all the other candidates mysteriously fail to show.

Norris to send out pre fight letters to the others requesting them to go easy.

I'll be performing a little Judo on voting day meself...by tossing my vote into the bin !!

None of them would make a decent president IMO.

This may be a bit off topic :P but are there many competitors expected for the tournament?
