USB3 Extension

Is it possible to get USB3 enabled extension ports. . ..? I have only seen the 2.0 versions in shops so that would obviously slow a 3.0 connection on my pc to 2.0 speeds , yeah ? Crazy

If it's a hub you're looking for then yes. Elara, Dabs eBay all have them, just search for usb 3 hub.

the PCI express cards are available to actually give you USB 3 capability. a USB 3 hub in a USB 2 source will still only provide USB 2 speed, power and function.
