Managed to sort it... ignore this post.

Does anyone know if the firefox addon Modify Headers works on windows7? It's used for viewing US geolocked content without a proxy.

Just started using Windows 7 and this addon doesnt work for me despite having worked on XP and vista. I have installed older versions of firefox and the addon and no luck.

Can anyone shed any light on whether this is a Windows 7 issue?

    Thank you

It can be made to work, but whether you can access the content in question depends primarily on the geolocation mechanisms used at the destination.

As I said, it depends what you're trying to access. It became very popular a while ago after it became apparent (at the time) that streamed episodes of the Daily Show and South Park could be accessed via their parent company's websites. (This was of particular interest to UK fans of the Daily Show when Channel 4 dropped it and replaced it with their own in-house equivalent show).

Other stuff? Well, it depends on whether the service you're accessing uses the header information for geolocation purposes or whether it goes a bit deeper.
