I have a HP Photosmart C4280 and when I first installed it a few years ago it automatically would scan documents into adobe format. I had to reboot my laptop recently as it was slowing down. Now when I use the scanner, all documents scanned just scan as jpg. Could anybody help me figure out how I can have the default scanning to be formatted in adobe?

I would think theres a setting in the HP scanning software somewhere, look under scanner settings/advanced settings and change type from JPEG to Adobe PDF!
