Recentyl striped the wall paper off bedroom walls and the old paint underneath was flaking off.
Paper was on the wall aprox 20 years.
We want to paint the walls now.
So i have scraped off the loose paint so now the walls look like camoflage (paint in some areas, bare plaster in other areas) so just wondering is there something to paint over it to smooth it out a bit and seal it.
Im worried if i paint iver the old paint it will bubble and flake more.
    Any advice?

Maybe if you use a primer on the walls first

If you dont sand the edges of the remaining paint, or preferrably remove it, There is a good chance you will have very obvious patches of old that was left by someone who just painted over it. :D
