Does fertility take time to come back

    Hey guys,

    Just like to ask you something..my girlfriend and i are trying for a baby at the moment but we went away for the summer and she was on the pill everyday to avoid her periods for 3 months.
    What id like to know is does it take time for her fertility to come back or as soon as she comes off it does it start straight away again?
    Becasue we've been for the last week and im just curious and excited to be a dad...

    There is no cut and dried answer to this. Sometimes it can take a while, sometimes it will all click back into place straight away. Everyone is different. Ideally op, you need to go to the gp that prescribed the pill and ask them. Particularly as it sounds like your gf did not take the pill correctly. Anyone giving advice here on that aspect is really breaching our charter on medical advice.

    All I will say is a week is very soon. If I were you I would just calm down, dont stress about whether conception is happening and just enjoy the practice for now.
