Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Not a lot to comment on there - it's a free hosted forum with very little branding or perceived value.

What are your goals for the site? Why should anyone visit your site as opposed to another forum that's busy?

forsaleireland, empty forums scare people away. The general idea will be create one big category and when the contents builds up the topics that are covered most will be taken out into a separate sub-category.
What is you idea behind or are you just playing around?

no not playing around,i'm gonna try and get the second one up and running and scrap the other but it's all about getting people to join and sell their stuff or whatever

Then free hosting is not something that you want.
Read their ToS carefully and make sure you clear about the amount of resources you will be allowed to use before they suspend your account.
The same applies to paid hosting as well.
