If you are under 18, are you entitled to take the grant you recieve or is a parent/guardian entitled to have control over it?

Thank you. I assume that means that the grant belongs to me then?

Has anybody else experienced problems with parents/guardians and grants? I want the grant to be given directly to me as opposed to being given to a parent, but I'm not sure if I'm legally entitled to that.

Yes that should be fine. It is either put into your bank account or sent by cheque in your name

It was so much easier to blame it on Them. It was bleakly depressing to think that They were Us. If it was Them, then nothing was anyone's fault. If it was us, what did that make Me? After all, I'm one of Us. I must be. I've certainly never thought of myself as one of Them. No one ever thinks of themselves as one of Them. We're always one of Us. It's Them that do the bad things.
