Generally, 100 per litre of paint here. Waterbased is pretty much your only option over the counter.

If you've any questions, ask away, and I'll do my best to answer them for you.

jaysus thats a bit pricy, whats the story with 2k and cellulose? ive heard waterbased is very hard to work with so we were trying to stay away from it.

Waterbased is simple to work with IMHO, you can dry it much faster than 2k. You'll have difficulty sourcing 2k paint, it's not supposed to be sold here only for specific purposes. I work with waterbased myself, I've a bumper corner and wing to paint in the morning. I'll start it at around 9, it'll be done by 9.30 lacquered and all.

dry and ready to drive? that aint bad at all, i take it your paint tutorial is on waterbase? bit shocked at the price tho, need about 2 litres to do the whole scooter, in the uk the guy im spraying with could buy everything for £60-70 but it was celly/2pack

2 litres to do a scooter seems extreme - I painted both sides of a whole 47 foot yacht once with 4 litres (Never ever again, waaay too much work). I painted my last moped with less than a 1/4 litre.

yeah ive had another mate tell me there that 1 litre should be really enough for it,theres a bit more to a vespa than a moped, so a litre of primer and paint and then thinners ontop is going to come near enough to 300 quid?
