Just seen on Boyles page......2/1 for Ireland to go through....SURELY there's a potential to lay some off if it goes pearshaped?!

Pot 1: Portugal, Croatia, Ireland, *Bosnia
Pot 2: *Czech Rep, Turkey, Montenegro, Estonia

Bosnia, Czech Rep might switch around based upon today's results.

We got lucky to make it this far. Slovakia looked a better team than us. Russia played us off the pitch. Armenia were unlucky to lose a man so early and gift us 2 goals and in the first game against them they probably were better team too. We have not played a good game since 1 half against France under trap, and didnt that French team go on to great things . So in the play offs we could get Turkey- will beat us easily.
Bosnia - will give us a hiding. Montenegro- Have improved since we last played them and wouldnt be too confident. That leaves Estonia- they managed to come second in a harder group that ours so wont be easy but this is where our chance lies.
If I got 2/1 on Ireland before the draw I wouldnt take it.

Firstly I'm not Traps greatest fan. But he gets results, might be crap to watch but he gets them. Its not how we have played since France, bookies payout on results.

Loads of clean sheets, and if you don't concede you don't lose. I'd take 2/1 before the draw as home advantage in the second leg could be huge. I cant see us beating any team 3-0, but likewise no team will beat us easily. 2/1 looks tempting.

Edit, 5/6 with PP, cant find odds on Boylesports.

Well lads, seems like Boyles didnt like their options.....the price disappeared VERY quick last night....strangely about 20 mins after france scored.

WEnt on live chat to ask where it was and told market suspended.

The order of home and away legs is also determined by the draw. Yes your right bookies do payout on results. Here is his record:
    Played 40 Won 18 Draw 14 Lost 8 Goals for 54 Goals against 35 Win Ratio 45.0%
No real stand out results there except maybe 2 draws against an old italy team in the qualifers who went on to finish bottom of group in word cup group stages new zealand ( yes they play football) finished 3rd. I cannot see these results you speak of. Maybe that 0-0 in Russia where we didnt have a shot on target

Maybe the fact that we only lost once in this qualifying group. And the fact that we never lost in the W.C 2010 qualifying group. Thats 20 games and only 1 defeat!

Maybe you didn't read my post, or I didn't spell it out. Not a fan of Traps. Don't like his style of football. But the man gets results for Ireland. Call it lucky, poor opposition, decisions go our way, whatever it is he gets results.

Would I like to see us playing sexier football of course I would, I hate handing over my 50 quid to watch how they play at times. And maybe we have better players to come into the team, but you cant argue he has done a decent job and probably deserves another contract on the results he has achieved.

So with that I'd love to get 2/1 on Ireland to qualify if your offering.

I doubt anyone got the 2/1 as it was taken down 20mins after the game when france drew their game and that made us a seeded team
