Hi all, Lately Ive been having problems with my car radio. Everytime I turn my car on ,I lose all my stations.I read somewhere that it could be the memory wire.I discovered that it was the yellow wire when i moved it around a bit and the radio worked for a day. I dont know how to fix this. Please help, Thanks

If you have deffo confirmed that your yellow wire is the memory, then just redo the yellow wire connection to where its getting joined to.

Sounds like a scotchlock connector gone wrong ( the way they all eventually go ).

Memory wire should have permanent 12v even when keys out.

Just redo the yellow connection, but ensure insulation is perfect before replacing stereo,

Here is the breakdown of what each wire does : NORMALLY!

    +Red..............12v ignition
    +Yellow...........12v battery
    -Black............Ground
    +Blue.............Power antenna
    +Blue/white.......Remote turn on
    Orange...........Dashlight/dimmer
    Orange/white.....Dashlight/dimmer
    Orange/black.....Dashlight/dimmer
    +White............Front left positive
    -White/black......Front left negative
    +Grey.............Front right positive
    -Grey/black.......Front right negative
    +Green............Rear left positive
    -Green/black......Rear left negative
    +Purple...........Rear right positive
    -Purple/black.....Rear right negative
