unlocking Samsung Galaxy S

hi all

rang meteor they give me a code which doesnt work. were supposed to contact me but never came back to me. paid €20 in one of those mickey mouse shops , came back and to my surprise phone seems to be still locked.


this is what I get when putting in a "Three" sim card :

SIM network unlock PIN

is there anything I'm doing worng ? am I missign something? any help would be greatly appreciated ....

Hi, the fact that it is saying network locked would suggest to me that the Sim card its pin protected (did you put a security luck on your Sim card?)
If the phone itself was network locked, it would say something like wrong shim/invalid Sim.

Sounds like the phone has been unlocked from the network, you need to just insert the 4 digit pin code set up against the Sim card.

go onto the android market and search SGS
half way down look for Galaxy_s Unlock (made by helroz)
install and do what it says.
you are now unlocked for freeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

If you got your Galaxy S from meteor it should be unlocked already
Mine was anyway.
I thought it wasnt and tried to unlock it myself and failed everytime :rolleyes:
