Looking for a good quality winter rain jacket. Must be very visable to motors and have the balance between warmth and ventulation. Any Ideas!?

I loved my Endura Gridlock jacket last year, got it in hi-vis. Combined with a base layer and jersey, it got me through the worst of the winter but was also grand in the wet Spring weather.

I got the women's jacket in an extra-small and it was true to size, but I'm not too sure about the sizing for the guys.

There's also a more expensive version of it with a strip of LED lights on the back of the jacket- it's called Luminite.

I got this jacket even the black one is very visible as the panel light up like christmas at the slightest sign of light on a dark night , read the reviews for youself.

It suits me im cycling about 5 kilometers each way so a small commute and it keeps me bone dry and stops the wind chilling me.
    Altura night vision

Also on the rear by the small of your back theres a velcro strip for a Led light they give you for free.

Also zips under the arms to improve ventilation as needed.

I would reccomend highly for commuters but maybe not breathable enough for training etc

This is a decent youtube vid of what its like in very low light conditions

The Altura is fantastic. Lengthy reviews on another thread.

It's aCampag chicks XL, maybe too lightweight and too slim but will keep your bottom dry. http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Models.aspx?ModelID=51526

Most of the zips broke and the velcro sleves closures were rubbish on my Altura jacket. The brand is dead to me.

My Altura Hi-Viz Jacket faded to a very light Yellow way too quickly. I like the side vents that can be zipped down on it though.
