iTunes contacts help

    Ok so I have finally got myself an iMac a few months ago and the iPad 2 yesterday. The iMac is being used by me and the wife. All the contacts on the iMac are mine. I am now using a galaxy 2 and have given the iPhone4 to the wife.
    How can I get her contacts off the phone to a separate account cause I don't want all contacts merging etc. I am worried she will lose all her contacts if I sync as she would get all mine.

    Any idea

    Create a new user account. Sync with that, and select the option to Merge all contacts when it detects that its syncing to a new address book. There won't be contacts in the new book yet, but it will move the phones contacts to the computer and merge any new ones created on either after that.

    New itunes account or new address book account. Or new user account on mac ???
