Top Pro promotions held another successful IKF Kickboxing promotion in the Ormonde Hotel, Kilkenny on Sunday October 9th.

The show featured 13 exciting bouts in Light Contact, Boxing and Full Contact so it had something for everyone and fighters travelled from all corners of the country from as far apart as Galway, Belfast, Dublin, Waterford, Meath and of course kilkenny.

Kilkenny Boxing Academy which is run by former Kickboxer Diarmuid O Sullivan had a Boxer out on the card and it was nice to see some of the AKAI coaches and fighters taking part in an IKF event.

Promoter Mick Bland has thanked all the fighters, coaches, officials, set up/down crew, Dr Maura Grummell, the medical staff, MC, DJ, the Ormonde Hotel and the IKF for all their help & support.

Results as follows:

1/ Paul Hayden (Top Pro) defeated Ben Potterson (Champions gym, Belfast) by decision (30-28, 30-28, 30-28) AM LCR

2/ Aoife Murphy (PMA) defeated Kayleigh O Keefe (Top-pro) by decision (30-26, 30-26, 30-26) AM FCR

3/ Philip Ryan (Top-Pro/KBA) defeated Bill Little (Champions, Belfast) (30-27, 30-27, 30-27) AM Boxing

4/ Jack Bland (Top-Pro) and Ben Robinson (Champions, Belfast) fought to a draw (29-30, 29-29, 30-29) AM LCR

5/ Leon Whittle (WKA) defeated Gary Donahoe (Top-Pro) by decision (30-27, 30-27, 30-27)

6/ Paul Cashin (Top-Pro) and Sean Furlong (Kinetic, Wexford) fought to a draw (29-29, 28-28, 29-29)

7/ Damian parker (Global, Dublin) defeated Nicky Cashin (Top-Pro) by decision (30-27, 30-27, 30-27)

8/ Leon Murphy (WKA) defeated Leon Yan Merezkin (Top-Pro) by decision (29-29, 30-29, 30-29)

9/ Charlie Ward (Galway Black Dragon) defeated Wilson Snoddy (Champions Gym, Belfast) by Unanamous decision (30-28, 30-27, 30-28)

10/ Anne Marie Bergin (Top-Pro) defeated Gillian Duffy (Global) by decision (30-27, 30-27, 30-27)

11/ Paul Donahoe (Top-Pro) and Audrius Kundrotas (Global) fought to a draw (29-29, 29-27, 28-30)

12/ Cathal Manning (Galway Black Dragon) defeated Robert Miscow (Top-Pro) by decision (30-27, 30-27, 30-27)

13/ Shane Culleton (Global) defeated Dermot O Rourke (Top-Pro) by decision (29-30, 30-28, 30-29)

The next IKF event is this coming Sunday 16th October in the Mount Mellick Sports Complex, Mount Mellick, Co. Laois and its a Light Contact Kickboxing Tournament open to all Junior fighters from ages 6 years to 17 years.
