It's craptacular. The storylines are boring, the characters are annoying, the songs are garbage and it's basically the exact same plot every episode since the first season.

I would say it had potential, but instead it has turned into an über-sweet-tween-pop cover-song-factory where the only actual goal is to sell the songs and merchandise.
The actual show itself is just the vehicle to move the product and as long as the characters are seen as the underdogs then it helps real teens feel like if they buy into the dream then everything will be OK!

There is no drama and no real emotion to the show (I would suggest there was a BIT in season 1).
