    Hi

I'm moving into an apartment which already has three UPC points. I'm getting UPC €65 package, i'm wondering do I need to get UPC Multiroom in all three points / rooms [€5 + €5 + €5 montly] to just have the TVs working in all rooms, or can I just get say 1 Multipoint, and plug the TV into the regular socket, not the UPC one, would I still get RTE1, 2, and TV3 anyways?

    Thanks

Your €65 package will give you one box to use in one room. You will get analog TV from the other points so you can just connect your TVs via coax to the wall outlets and get the normal analog channels.

You don't need to purchase any multiroom add-on.

    Hi mmcd98,

Firstly thanks a mill for that. But just for dumbo here, when you say 'via coax', what is that? UPC basically told me I had to get Multifoom in all rooms to have any channels working, but in the house i'm in at the moment we have regular UPC basic package in sitting room, then I have 16 channels in my room [think that's an extra €5], but the room upstairs has 1, 2 and TV3 without any UPC box, so i'm wondering if I can just do that with the extra rooms in my new place.

Your UPC package will include a box to get the digital channels. Use this in your main room. In the other rooms just connect the TVs directly to the wall sockets (without UPC box) in the same as you do In your current house (this is what I mean by coax). This should give you the 16 channels you mention which are the analog channels. You have to tune your TVs to receive these.
