    Hi all,

Myself and the girlfriend are thinking of moving into apartments in chapelizod. We are wondering if any one has any experinece of renting or living in the northcliffe apartments on st martins row.
Would this area be considered rough/ ballyfermot?

Used to live down the road in the island. northcliffe are older, but fine apartments.

This end of c'lizod is not rough at all- you are probably nearer to castleknock than ballyer

If you're thinking of a Chapelizod estate practically in Ballyfermot, well that's the Steeples

You are not near Ballyfermot at all

Though for shopping, hairdresser, xtravision, etc, Ballyer is still your nearest and local area if you drive.
If you don't drive, well buses don't go up St Laurences Road so it's a trek to Ballyfermot
The walk up the hill by the Fás centre would kill you :p
    Steepest hill in Dublin surely?
