Does anybody know if Kilos is gone completely, or if he's set up somewhere else? I hadn't been in for a few weeks and called in at the weekend with the intention of stocking up but found a jewellry store in its place

Sadly it's gone, great little shop. My favourite bag of liquorice is a euro dearer in Full of Beans so I'm doing without :(

Gone a while now. If you want spices try Spiceworld on the quay, but they'll only do bigger packets so you'll need a bit of storage space, or split the bags with someone.

That's a shame. I do use Spiceworld for spices, big bags of rice etc., but Kilos was great for stocking up on beans, decent sized (and reasonably priced) packs of dried fruits, and hard to find elsewhere stuff like rye or spelt flour.

Pity to see another gem of a shop closing down.....................
