    :D
Did anybody see the news tonight when Enda Kenny (with Mitchell standing beside him) started comparing Gay Mitchell's election campaign with that of Barack Obama's campaign??
Kenny said that Obama was also a non-entity and a no-hoper when he started out but he managed to turn it around. It was so feckin hilarious! The look on Gay Mitchell's face was priceless. Talk about damning with faint praise. It was the funniest thing I've seen in a long time!

Enda should choose his role models a little more carefully. Obama's campaign was a circus and the man himself has turned out to be a fairly unremarkable president. Or perhaps that's a perfect role model...

The worse Mitchell does, the happier Enda will be.

This is scary, Kenny may start plagiarizing Mitchell's speeches.

I agree, he will turn round to the Parliamentary Party and say "look at what you did, we could have won the damn thing if we had picked the right candidate. You need to give me more control over candidates" which is what he and Phil Hogan want first for the local elections and then for the next general election which they see as being of more importance.

The same message will be given to the grassroots when Eithne Loftus fails to take the seat in Dublin West, we want more control.
